I am happy to report that this November we will raise a brand new American Flag at the entrance to our community. The current flag was a gift from Arian Myzequari and represented great personal importance to his American citizenship journey. Thank you Arian. The new flag, a beautiful hand sewn flag (plus a second back-up flag) was graciously donated by our very own residents, Mark and Tammy Board. Thank you Mark and Tammy for your generosity and quick response as we continue to restore our community and recover from Hurricane Ian.
Why is this flag so important? On November 11 we honor America's Veterans for their devotion, patriotism, selfless-service and sacrifice on behalf of this nation. Thank you to all who served and to the Families who made it possible for their loved ones to serve. Your loyalty to your country and great courage made us what we are today…the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave…a beacon of hope in an often troubled world. In the very wise words of President Calvin Coolidge, “The Nation which forgets its defenders will itself be forgotten.” Nor will we ever forget our POWs and MIAs who have yet to be accounted for. This is the solemn promise of a grateful nation.
Happy November and American Indian Heritage Month! Important dates this month: End Daylight Saving Time (Nov. 5th), Veterans Day (Nov. 11th), Thanksgiving (Nov. 23rd)

Happy October Colonade Circle neighbors! It is starting to feel like fall as the humidity drops! Here is what’s happening in our community.
New Announcements:
1. We did it! We made it through the street sealcoating project! Thank you for everyone's patience and cooperation! Special thank you to Candy and Arian for being on the ground to address issues as they occurred.
2. Clubhouse renovation project. The architect rendering of our future clubhouse is hanging in the window of our clubhouse to the left of the front door. Furnishings and finishes are not reflected in the drawing. The Fitness Room Committee has been working diligently on pricing the equipment most requested from the community survey. The Design Committee will continue to work on finishes and furnishings.
3. The building lights and pathway lights are coming on line as the electrical contractor is working diligently to get the job done. Please send me an email if you have no building lights (marilyn.chiafullo@gmail.com).
4. Call box at the front gate. The phone line repair was completed. If your name is missing from the listings (some have already notified me) please send me an email and we will have the contractor enter your information. (marilyn.chiafullo@gmail.com).
5. Original gold bathroom fixtures wanted. If you have any of the original gold fixtures please let me know so I can have Arian pick them up and store them in our Gate House (marilyn.chiafullo@gmail.com). Our supply was wiped out by Hurricane Ian last summer.

1. Final Reminder: Window washing will begin the week of November 13, 2023. If you have screen doors on your lanai please unlock them.
